When you establish an organizational endowment with the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, we handle all administrative responsibilities, accounting and investment management related to your fund, allowing you to focus on your organization's mission and purpose — serving those in need throughout our community.

Apply for a Community Fund Grant
Community Fund Grants are made possible by the Community Fund Endowment, our most visionary endowment supported by unrestricted gifts. Donors to the Community Fund Endowment entrust the Foundation to award grants to local nonprofits.
Community Fund Grants support transformational ideas, programs or initiatives with the potential to drive significant social impact and spark meaningful change.
Typically, the Community Foundation makes awards to nonprofit organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status that are undertaking projects that benefit the people of the Sioux Falls area.

Our regional Foundations, located in Brandon, Canton, Dell Rapids, Hartford, Lennox and Tea, are giving back to their local communities with a variety of grant opportunities.

The Giving Depot is a central space where local nonprofits share pressing needs and where those who are interested in giving learn about charitable opportunities across our area.
Eligible nonprofits can detail information about a pressing need. Each listing on The Giving Depot will include easy ways to learn more, and to give.
