Scholarship and Award Funds
Whether you're wrapping up a general equivalency diploma, graduating from high school, or working toward a graduate degree, Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation offers a wide variety of competitive scholarship awards to help you achieve your goals.
Most of our scholarship applications are available online. A few must be obtained through your guidance counselor or college financial aid office.
Online applications can only be accessed when applications for the scholarship are being accepted. Generally, they are posted on or about the 15th of December for the coming academic year. Scholarships that are active have a "Download Application" button to the right of the description.
To help your search, we've divided our scholarships into eight categories:
Area Students - College Bound
These scholarships are open to students from Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook counties and communities within a 75-mile radius of Sioux Falls who plan to attend a four-year college or university.

Area Students - Tech and Voc Bound
Open to students from Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook counties and communities within a 75-mile radius of Sioux Falls who plan to attend a vocational or technical school.

Post Graduate
Scholarships for students admitted to or enrolled in a graduate program, including education, medicine, seminary, healthcare administration, and others.

Other Opportunities
Scholarships limited to students graduating from specific high schools located outside the Sioux Falls area, such as Kimball, Doland, Bon Homme, and more. Be sure to check these out!
